With his leadership, Winston Hospitality manages a portfolio of hotels with over 2,000 rooms and annual revenues exceeding $100 million. West also served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of the original Winston Hotels, Inc., where he helped raise more than $600 million in debt and equity financing through credit facilities, mortgage loans, and follow-on public offerings. He was also responsible for all SEC public filings.

In his role as Chief Financial Officer for Winston Hospitality, he oversees all strategic and tactical matters related to budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, and the securing of new funding.
